Help ideas for search
Want to remove a word from search?
Put a - in front of it.
(ie. Hat -doll)

Want to search bust size in Pattern Co?
Just add "Bust XX"
(ie. Vogue Bust 38)

Want to know as soon as we post new listings for the day? Subscribe to our  blog or rss feed and you can see or be notified by email as soon as they go live.

HINT: Due to our large volume we suggest that you put all patterns that interest you into your shopping cart wish list. You can always remove them when you check out and keeps you from having to "hunt" for them again. ;) Please note that until you check out the patterns remain in inventory and can be purchased by others, also if you clear your cookies it will clear your shopping cart. :( But if you keep them in your "wish list" these will NOT clear out unless you take them out.

  • I am having trouble checking out., The shopping cart is not working.
I know how frustrating this is but the issue is most likely due to the security and privacy settings on your computer. You need to make my site a trusted site in your browser and this should help. The shopping cart is working correctly but your computer is blocking it from being seen correctly. Let me know if this does not fix the issue. You can do this by going to tools/Internet Options/Security/click Trusted sites in window/ add www.lanetzliving.net in the pop up window where it says to add. If you are using a Mac Computer or Vista Windows these both have known issues in the industry of having difficulty working with shopping cart. You are always free to email me at janet@lanetzliving.net your order and I can send a paypal request or call and get your credit card information. Shopping carts are one of the most difficult pieces of software on a website as they interact with the setting on the viewers computer. :)Back to top

  • I am having trouble with the search showing blank pages or not returning the correct search
If you have been on the site awhile and viewed a lot of pages it sounds like the "cached pages" are interfering with your search. My site is very sensitive to cached pages for some reason, I think it is the large inventory, ha! Log out and clear your cache and log back in and that should correct it. Sorry for the hassle!! If you do not know how to do this; Copy and paste this link into your browser (or you can find a live link to it by clicking the search link on the tool bar above): http://www.americanfunds.com/help/clearing-browser-cache.htmBack to top

  • Where do you find all these fabulous patterns & books?
I am addicted to auctions and estate sales. I also buy from individuals. (Please see my FAQ on buying patterns)Back to top

  • How do I create an account?
Just click on the my account link at the top and follow the prompts. If you create an account you can access the items in your cart from any computer just by logging in. Back to top

  • Do you buy patterns and craft books?
I am only buying 1950 and earlier patterns at this time as I have boxes and boxes of the 60's and up that will take me from here to eternity to list. ((grin)). If you have any earlier patterns of this era that you want to sell, Let me know how many and how much you want for them.Back to top

  • How do I browse and keep track of the items I am interested in?
Just add each item to your shopping cart or wish list, before you check out you can review all your items and remove any that you are no longer interested in at that time. Once you have purchased from me you will create a user account that you can log in to when you return. This will allow you to take several days if you like and your items stay in your cart. Keep in mind until they are paid for they are still "in inventory" and can be purchased by someone else. The shopping cart has been enhanced to automatically save a customers shopping cart. This means that you can place items in your shopping cart, close the browser window and return to the site at a later time with the shopping cart contents restored. If you have an account, you can login to your account and the shopping cart will be automatically saved on your account. IMPORTANT: If you clear your "cookies" this will clear your shopping cart. But if you keep them in your "wish list" these will NOT clear out unless you take them out. However is you put them in your "wish list" clearing the cookies will not remove them.Back to top

  • I ordered 10 or 20 and more, How do I get my discount?
Thanks!!! If you ordered 10 to 19 then put the code 10off in the coupon box when you check out. If you ordered 20 or more then put the code 20off in the coupon box.Back to top

  • Do you count the pattern pieces?
The simple answer is yes and no. ((grin)) over 90% of my patterns are uncut or unused. The few that are it will depend on the pattern envelope condition and tissue, if poor then I try not to disturb the envelope if I feel it will damage it more. If tightly and neatly folded I will not disturb as I can never get them back to the original, otherwise, they are counted but I am human and have been know to miss a pc or two. ;). I guarantee my patterns to be complete so if ever you find a missing pc just return for a full refund. I will even pay the shipping back.Back to top

  • When will my order ship?
Orders ship within 24 -48 hrs upon payment when I am in town, excluding weekends. I try to get the postal pony out the door as soon as possible! If I am out of town there will be a delay. I always post this on the top of the left navigation bar. Back to top

  • Are your items Original & Authentic?
Yes! I do not sell reproductions, The majority of my stock comes from estate auctions or former owners who are wanting to find good homes for their pre-loved patterns! ((grin))Back to top

  • What is your refund policy?
If you are not happy then I am not happy. I know how it is too see a pattern and then when you hold it in your hands it was just not quite what you thought it was. Return it! Full refund or credit to your account, What ever you prefer. I do ask for refunds to be returned within 1 week and please notify me within 48 hours that it will be coming back. Patterns need to be in as sold condition if still in factory folds. Thanks!Back to top
